Call for Short Film

INSPIRE Miami 2019 Short Films Festival is a  platform for independent short film and experimental section offering emerging and established filmmakers the opportunity to showcase their latest work to the Miami crowd available during Miami Art Week.

We welcome submissions of artists from any part of the world. The winning projects will be selected by a jury of industry professionals. The Festival is not only supported by other talented independent artists, but will attract filmmakers, producers, talent and industry professionals.

Short Films registration is now open for submissions.

 

The following rules are applicable:
 

  1. World premiere must have occurred no earlier than January 1, 2019

  2. Films submitted may be part of a class project or an independent piece.

  3. Short films of any nationality and language can participate.

  4. Submit your film with English subtitles if in a foreign language.

  5. All themes are allowed.

  6. The maximum length will be 45 minutes (including credits).

  7. There is a limit of 2 entries that a filmmaker may enter, but these have to be submitted separately.

  8. You can submit your film to more than one category.

  9. Selected short films are committed to using the event's logo on their film.

  10. You are only considered for the category (ies) you submit your film to.

  11. Exhibition format of films selected must be digital file.

  12. Submissions are open until full.

  13. The juries decision will be irrevocable.

  14. Award winners that are not present will have their award(s) shipped to them at the Event's expense.

  15. The jury will include professionals from the cinema world, television and/or media.

  16. By submitting, the participants agree to all regulations.
